这项集体诉讼由肖恩・恩尼斯（Sean Ennis）代表 1566 名开发者提起，指控苹果垄断了 App Store 上的应用分销。恩尼斯是东英吉利大学竞争政策中心教授、经合组织前经济学家。

恩尼斯向路透社分享了一份声明：“苹果垄断了 iPhone 和 iPad 上的应用程序分销，导致应用开发者缴纳过高的费用。这些收费本身就不公平，构成滥用定价。他们伤害了应用程序开发者和应用程序购买者”。

According to a report by Reuters, more than 1,500 developers in the UK have filed a collective lawsuit against Apple, accusing the App Store of "unfair" practices and demanding £785 million in compensation.

This collective lawsuit was initiated by Sean Ennis on behalf of 1,566 developers, alleging that Apple monopolizes app distribution on the App Store. Ennis is a professor at the Centre for Competition Policy at the University of East Anglia and a former economist at the OECD.

Ennis shared a statement with Reuters: "Apple has monopolized app distribution on iPhones and iPads, resulting in excessive fees for app developers. These charges themselves are unfair and constitute price abuse. They harm both app developers and app purchasers."
